Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Make minor adjustments and repairs across electrical, brake, cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, steering, engines (gas/diesel), transmissions, clutches, differentials, and more.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Maintain and operate the company-issued service vehicle, conduct safety checks, and complete daily pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document repair work and findings (including pictures) on repair orders using a company iOS device and TRAIT app, and complete DOT forms in a timely manner.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and up to 2 years’ experience in a related field.
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • •OEM training and certifications are preferred; participate in and complete all required training.
  • •Current and valid DOT medical card with sufficient remaining validity (or able to complete DOT physical).
  • •Must be at least 21 years or older; valid state-of-residence driver’s license required and able to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File.
