Job Summary

Senior Structural Revit Technician responsible for producing and supervising coordinated BIM models and CAD drawings for Building Structures projects. Lead drafting activities across healthcare, renewable energy, energy, heritage, commercial, industrial, and hospitality sectors, collaborating with engineers and external stakeholders, and applying ISO 19650 BIM standards and BIM360 workflows to deliver multidisciplinary design outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit; preparing engineering models & drawings from sketches and design information
•Work closely with key external stakeholders, clients and colleagues from all parts of the WSP business to achieve multidisciplinary delivery outcomes
•Use BIM technologies both in cloud and managed systems to prepare concise engineering drawings for key stages such as conception, planning, tender, building warrant and construction
•Fulfil Project Technician role – manage the drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size, actively driving the collaboration

Key Requirements

•Gained a HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering
•Experience in Building Structures as a Technician
•Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•Experience in the principles of ISO 19650, BIM templates, BEPs, and use of collaborative information management software
•Experience in working with digital platforms, particularly BIM360 and its collaborative modules (Not essential, training will be provided)
