Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee the day-to-day running and administration of the laboratory.
  • •Ensure laboratory accreditation to IANZ and ISO 17025 Std.
  • •Lead and develop laboratory team members.
  • •Lead the investigation of micro related issues in the plants and ensure the lab is involved in factory hygiene.
  • •Uphold Heinz values and ensure compliance with Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, and HR policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Tertiary qualification in Science, Microbiology or similar
  • •Experience in microbiological testing, laboratory signatory, people supervision and leadership

  • •Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
  • •Eligibility to work in New Zealand with full working rights
