Job Summary

Lead the US billing team within a hybrid, on-site environment, overseeing end-to-end US billing operations, ensuring SLA adherence, and managing complex disputes and reconciliations. Partner with Client Services, Legal, Tax and Account Management to optimize pricing, onboarding and contract transitions, while enforcing SOX controls and GAAP revenue recognition. Develop the team through training and performance coaching.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the Billing team, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and resources allocation to ensure coverage across client portfolios, especially during peak month-end cycles.
•Oversee the US billing pipeline end-to-end, ensuring draft cycles, reviews, and client approvals are completed within SLAs.
•Serve as the primary point of contact for complex billing disputes, client complaints, and high-value invoice reconciliations.
•Partner with Client Services, Legal, Tax, and Account Management to optimize pricing setups, client onboarding, and contract transitions.
•Manage internal and external audit requests, ensuring adherence to SOX controls and GAAP revenue recognition standards.

Key Requirements

•13-15 years of experience in Billing with a track record of leading teams
•Strong team management experience and ability to mentor and evaluate staff
•Preferred experience in SSC/Media/Advertising industries
•Strong communication skills for negotiation and reconciliation
•Self-motivated with a flexible attitude to achieve results and remain calm under pressure
