Key Responsibilities

  • •Regularly inspect facility operations to ensure safe job practices, protective equipment use, and machine/process guards are in place.
  • •Investigate and facilitate accident and near-miss investigations, identify trends and causes, and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
  • •Develop safety programs and incentives with management and conduct new hire safety training.
  • •Provide employee training on safe and appropriate operation of machinery and equipment and chair the Safety Committee.
  • •Maintain safety readiness and records, including first aid/CPR staffing and supplies, forklift training certification, OSHA 300 logs and required reports, and safety regulatory tours.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum high school graduate.
  • •0 to 2 years of experience in safety operations.
  • •Working knowledge and proficiency with computer/business software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • •Preferred experience in First Aid and CPR.
  • •Preferred working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.
