Job Summary

Design and deliver end-to-end enterprise web applications leveraging blockchain technology. Partner with distributed teams to implement web applications, solve engineering challenges, and apply reliable design patterns. Own functional scope, meet quality standards, and contribute to documentation for code and applications. Help resolve and escalate issues to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with quality using modern backend Java development and web3 tooling.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with team members on implementation approaches for web applications leveraging blockchain technology.
•Own and deliver end-to-end application functionality scope that leverages blockchain technology while meeting quality standards.
•Solve engineering challenges to meet stakeholder requirements and expectations.
•Apply best practices and design patterns for enterprise web applications and web3 applications.
•Use collaborative tools to manage and deliver work in a distributed team, including contributing technical documentation and supporting issue resolution/escalation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering; MS or PhD in computer science (or related) is a plus.
•7 to 10 years of experience across the full software development and testing lifecycle; financial services experience is a plus.
•5 to 7 years of backend web development experience with Java Spring.
•1 to 3 years of experience developing web3 applications is a plus.
•Experience with asynchronous programming and communication, plus familiarity with best practices for reliability, scalability, and performance.
