Key Responsibilities

  • •Responsible for pre- and post-contract quantity surveying works, including cost reporting and verification of contractor interim and final bills.
  • •Lead the project from the front as the SPOC and support/lead other cost team members.
  • •Manage estimating, rate analysis, and cost planning, producing the final cost plan to client requirements.
  • •Handle quantification and budget preparation, including cost to complete, plus procurement and tendering processes for civil packages.
  • •Support cost audits as necessary and prepare/change management cost reports; prepare and review certificates of payment in line with contract terms and conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •8 to 12 years of work experience with demonstrated career growth, preferably in a construction consultancy in India or abroad.
  • •In-depth knowledge of pre-contract and post-contract cost management and associated works across the project lifecycle.
  • •Strong estimating, rate analysis, and cost planning skills, including producing a final cost plan to client requirements.
  • •Working knowledge of Cost X and MS Excel, with technical skills in cost management.
  • •Experience with quantity surveying tasks including BOQ preparation, verifying interim/final contractor bills, cost reporting, and change management cost reporting.
