Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement a quality production program to ensure conformity of purchased materials and final products to quality standards.
  • •Maintain and continuously improve the ISO 9001 system and related quality objectives for the site.
  • •Review and approve new and revised test procedures; recommend standards, inspection methods, and process controls; provide technical support to manufacturing.
  • •Establish cost-effective inspection procedures and quality awareness programs; track and report results; manage inspection and test queues.
  • •Coordinate internal and customer complaint systems, including root cause investigation, preventative actions, and follow-up; oversee process and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Materials Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • •5–7+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment (flexible packaging, film extrusion, or converting strongly preferred).
  • •Demonstrated experience managing an ISO 9001 quality management system, including internal audits and external certification audits.
  • •Prior supervisory or people-management experience leading a QA or technical team.
  • •Working knowledge of root cause analysis and CAPA methodologies (8D, 5-Why, fishbone, etc.) and proficiency with statistical process control tools.
