Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver safe, fun, and progressive swimming lessons following the Swim England learn to swim framework.
  • •Support swimmers in building confidence and skills that may lead to competitive progression.
  • •Work with a customer-focused team across Serco-managed leisure centres as required.
  • •Maintain a safe teaching environment in line with safeguarding requirements.
  • •Participate in ongoing training through the Aquatic Training Academy and specialist CPDs.

Salary: GBP 13.5 - 15 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England Level 2.
  • •Be able to deliver safe, fun, and progressive swimming lessons for people of all ages.
  • •Have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable working with a wide range of backgrounds.
  • •Hold an RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC, or STA Safety Award for Teachers (advantageous).
  • •Be willing to complete a DBS check.
