Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide crisis intervention and comprehensive victim advocacy services, including emotional support, transportation, and warm handoffs to community resources.
  • •Conduct initial screening, non-clinical risk and lethality assessments, and help develop safety plans.
  • •Coordinate and liaison with the installation Family Advocacy Program Manager (FAPM) and intervening agencies to ensure victims receive timely, sensitive, and confidential care.
  • •Provide information on victim rights and available services on and off the installation; assist with protective orders and Crime Victims’ Compensation applications.
  • •Maintain ongoing case management and complete required data entry within three business days while providing daily crisis contact as required.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in social work, psychology, marriage and family and child counseling, counseling or behavior science, education, community health, or public health.
  • •Two (2) years’ experience working with victims of domestic abuse/sexual assault violence or victim advocacy services.
  • •Must be available to provide crisis intervention services 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
  • •Willing to travel within an estimated 50-mile radius of the assigned work location.
  • •Provide crisis intervention services during nights and weekends as required by installation needs.
