•Own core services behind Crusoe Cloud’s managed container registry that serves images for training and inference workloads.
•Take end-to-end ownership of high-impact components from design through production, driving scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
•Drive performance improvements by profiling/benchmarking, squashing bottlenecks, and making architecture tradeoffs to stay dependable as demand grows.
•Stay hands-on with complex challenges by guiding architecture decisions and participating in design and code reviews.
•Influence beyond your team by shaping technical designs across adjacent teams and aligning priorities with product and platform partners.

Salary: USD 170,000 - 205,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5-8 years of professional software development experience building and operating distributed systems in high-load production environments.
•Proven success designing, scaling, and hardening distributed systems with reliability under load.
•Practical experience profiling, benchmarking, and optimizing distributed systems (latency, throughput, caching, and resource tradeoffs).
•Strong fundamentals in microservices and cloud-native infrastructure technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform, plus experience with Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
•Comfort mentoring engineers and collaborating across functions to align on priorities and communicate technical tradeoffs.
