Job Summary

Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce machined metal parts at the San Marcos facility. Measure materials with precision hand tools, perform machining setups and adjustments, and inspect completed work. Use blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, and GD&T to machine to dimensional requirements, while checking SPC charts and maintaining quality and safety records. Work Sunday–Thursday on the 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM).

Key Responsibilities

•Assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts into sub-units or complete units using mechanical equipment.
•Take measurements of material and select appropriate machines for the machining process.
•Perform machining setups and adjust as required during production.
•Conduct inspections of work produced and check SPC charts for inspection frequency, gauging, and measurements.
•Keep records and maintain quality and safety standards.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED.
•Experience interpreting blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, specifications, and reference planes.
•Experience with geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) for operational, material, and dimensional requirements.
•Experience operating a 5-axis CNC machine (preferred).
•Understand and be able to interpret G&M code (preferred).
