Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and operate the core MLS platform, including the Rust-based API gateway, Python ML compute workers, and the distributed job queue
  • •Solve concurrency, performance, and distributed-systems challenges to support high-volume production workloads
  • •Collaborate with product and ML science teams to deploy models from GenAI to fine-tuned classifiers
  • •Develop a content-addressable storage abstraction over cloud object stores with garbage collection and sharding
  • •Improve the asynchronous job-queueing system built on the storage layer using compare-and-swap primitives

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of engineering and architecting large-scale, distributed commercial services
  • •Deep proficiency in a systems-level language (Rust, C++, Go) with strong Python skills
  • •Experience with cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • •Understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous programming
  • •Strong fundamentals in computer science and ability to articulate architecture and code quality
