Job Summary

Conduct teller transactions with speed and accuracy while safeguarding bank assets. Set up, close, and balance your teller station, record monetary instrument sales, and maintain a well-stocked teller area. Follow account protection limits and bank policies, assist with balancing vault/ATM/night drop/coin machine as assigned, and support document scanning and check-cashing decisions. Cross-sell bank products, cross-train for basic consumer account openings, and complete required BSA/AML compliance training.

Key Responsibilities

•Receive, pay out, and process cash and negotiable items including loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
•Set up, close, and balance the teller station, including assisting with vault, ATM, night drop, and coin machine balancing as assigned.
•Record sales of monetary instruments and maintain a neat, well-stocked teller area.
•Cross-sell bank products and services, and cross-train to open basic new consumer accounts.
•Follow bank policies, apply limits for customer account protection and safety/soundness, complete BSA/AML compliance training, and support document scanning and check-cashing decisions.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED, with 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training.
•Ability to communicate effectively with customers and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group settings.
•Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing numbers using money and measurement.
•Ability to follow simple multi-step instructions and handle standardized situations with limited variables.
•Basic software skills including 10-key, spreadsheet, and word processing/typing.
