Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and implement 0-to-1 automated ML systems, making pragmatic build-vs-buy and simple-vs-complex architectural choices while writing production code.
  • •Translate ambiguous business needs (e.g., acquisition and churn dynamics) into technical roadmaps with clear, actionable results.
  • •Lead end-to-end deployment of ML products, ensuring accuracy, robustness, maintainability, and integration into production infrastructure.
  • •Partner across Engineering, Product, and Business to align technical strategy with business goals and core metrics.
  • •Define technical standards through design docs and peer reviews, own the full model lifecycle, and mentor Senior and Mid-level Data Scientists.

Salary: GBP 95,000 - 115,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in data science or ML engineering, building production systems with measurable business impact.
  • •High proficiency in Python and SQL, including the Python data stack (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and at least one major ML framework (e.g., PyTorch, XGBoost/LightGBM).
  • •Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into actionable technical roadmaps and scalable solutions.
  • •Experience with CI/CD, MLOps, and managing the full model lifecycle in a cloud production environment (AWS or GCP).
  • •BS, MS, or PhD in a quantitative field (or equivalent expertise).
