Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with the delivery of Red Hat Consulting engagements to internal and external customers.
  • •Serve as a subject matter expert at the client site addressing technical, developmental, or strategic IT needs.
  • •Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, and software specification, including design, testing, and deployment of open source solutions.
  • •Produce written project documentation for distribution within Red Hat and to client management.
  • •Keep stakeholders updated on actual or potential issues that may affect project or company performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in a consulting or related role.
  • •Experience with enterprise-wide deployments.
  • •Advanced knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and infrastructure technologies such as OpenShift, Ansible/Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Red Hat Satellite, Authentication services (IdM/IPA), and virtualization technologies.
  • •Working knowledge of Linux security practices and tools to address common criteria.
  • •Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or willingness to pursue certification within 90 days.
