Key Responsibilities

  • •Uncover patterns in data and develop predictive models, actionable insights, and solutions for Smart MFG/AI.
  • •Build software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple sources.
  • •Interact with cross-functional teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis projects and tool improvements.
  • •Conduct exploratory activities and develop new data science solutions using advanced analytical and machine learning methods.
  • •Work with diverse data types (including time-series and images) and address data with frequently changing distributions.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or engineering.
  • •Strong desire to grow a career as a Data Scientist in highly automated industrial manufacturing using machine learning on very large datasets.
  • •Experience with statistical modeling, feature extraction/analysis, and supervised/unsupervised/semi-supervised learning.
  • •Ability to extract data from databases using SQL (or other query languages) and apply data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing-data techniques.
  • •Strong software development skills and strong verbal and written communication.
