Provide day-to-day legal support to commercial, supply chain, and functional teams across Greater APAC for DSM’s SolCo unit; draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements; identify and mitigate legal and contractual risks; act as a trusted business partner across countries and functions in a matrix organization; support compliance, ethics, and governance activities and coordinate external counsel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide day-to-day legal support to commercial, supply chain, and functional teams across Greater APAC, delivering practical and business-oriented legal advice.
•Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including sales, distribution, procurement, service, and confidentiality contracts.
•Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and contractual risks while supporting business growth and commercial objectives.
•Act as a trusted business partner, collaborating with stakeholders across countries and functions in a complex matrix organization.
•Coordinate external counsel where required and ensure effective prioritization, execution, and continuous improvement of legal processes and ways of working.

Key Requirements

•Law degree and qualification to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction, with 4–8 years of post-qualification experience.
•Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts such as sales, distribution, procurement, service, and confidentiality agreements.
•Strong knowledge of commercial law, compliance, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements; ability to identify and mitigate legal risks.
•Proven ability to provide pragmatic, solution-oriented legal advice and balance legal risk with commercial objectives.
•Fluent English communication skills with excellent stakeholder management across cultures in a matrix organization.
