Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent commercialization in early product development (PD) cycle product review meetings with VF Asia product teams and ensure viability of development samples to commercialization requirements.
  • •Partner with brand, vendor development, engineering, and production teams to ensure accuracy across pattern, fit, materials, and assembly techniques.
  • •Ensure correct laboratory testing is completed to confirm product performance and coordinate fit trial schedules to remain on track to brand readiness (BR) timelines.
  • •Track downstream and upstream teams against timelines to support BR and T4 readiness, and report progress to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • •Collaborate with mold tooling and costing teams to align tooling timelines with production time-frames and validate sample/production patterns against yield utilization.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of related professional experience in manufacturing or technical/production environments (fashion, retail, or consumer-facing multinational organizations).
  • •Degree holder in Textiles or related fields (equipment/apparel/footwear).
  • •Subject-matter expertise in equipment and accessories, LEAN manufacturing, automation, patterns, and laboratory standards/testing/materials.
  • •Ability to break down complex engineering situations and information into clear verbal and written technical communication.
  • •Strong knowledge of paper pattern creation and digital product creation is a strong advantage.
