Job Summary

Own the commercialization of VF-owned brand equipment and packs by engineering products for manufacturability, cost, quality, and performance. Serve as a liaison between sourcing development and sourcing operations within VF’s key manufacturing regions and strategic vendors. Represent commercialization in early product development reviews, validate laboratory testing, track fit trials and tooling timelines, and align sample and production patterns with yield utilization.

Key Responsibilities

•Represent commercialization in early product development (PD) cycle product review meetings using SME production knowledge to ensure sample viability to commercialization requirements.
•Partner with brand and vendor teams to ensure accuracy in pattern, fit, materials, and assembly techniques, and confirm correct laboratory testing for product performance.
•Lead and track extreme fit trial schedules with approved fit and wear test teams, reporting progress to cross-functional stakeholders against product timelines.
•Track and hold downstream and update stream teams against timelines to ensure BR and T4 readiness.
•Partner with GMS mold tooling and costing teams to align tooling timelines and validate patterns against yield utilization.

Key Requirements

•3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or technical/production environments with fashion, retail, or consumer-facing multinational organizations.
•Degree in textiles or Eq./Apparel/Footwear related fields.
•Subject-matter expertise in equipment and accessories, LEAN manufacturing, automation, patterns, laboratory standards and testing/materials.
•Ability to break down complex engineering situations into clear verbal or written communication.
•Knowledge of equipment and accessories focused on technical constructions, laboratory testing, material performance, fit and wear, LEAN production, automation, and speed development.
