Job Summary

Join SpaceX as a Fleet Maintenance Technician at the Starship production site to maintain and repair a wide range of fleet assets and automation systems. You’ll troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems (PLCs, HMIs, servomotors), service cranes and heavy equipment, and drive forklifts, ensuring reliable operation to support fast-paced Starship manufacturing on-site at Starbase/Boca Chica.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and repair all fleet assets to ensure their proper operating condition
•Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on various complex automation systems for transport systems
•Troubleshoot and repair control & electrical system failures involving – PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, servo amplifiers, input/output, field sensors
•Troubleshoot and repair various machine tool hydraulic and pneumatic systems – actuators, valves, pumps, filters
•Troubleshoot and repair automated tool mechanical systems – ballscrews, linear rails, guideways, gearboxes, 3 phase motors

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalency
•3+ years of maintenance technician experience
•3+ years of experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and/or electrical repair
•5+ years of experience as a maintenance technician or field service engineer
•Capable of forklift and boom lift certification
