Job Summary

Repair and maintain heavy equipment and aerial lifts at a Catlett, VA facility, using digital work orders and diagnostics to identify root causes. Travel to customer sites as needed, train junior technicians, and ensure safety and documentation are maintained to support a fast-paced, tech-enabled field service team.

Key Responsibilities

•Use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues from hundreds of makes and models.
•Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner daily.
•Field Mechanic: travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; keep service vehicle clean and professional.
•Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed.
•Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred) and uphold safe job practices.

Key Requirements

•Must own tools applicable to position.
•Advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools; ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
•Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
•Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
•High School diploma or trade school certificate preferred; experience in field service/maintenance preferred; willingness to travel to customer sites and pass safety drug screen as required.
