Job Summary

Design, develop, integrate, and verify Military Avionics solutions for the Open Platform Applications Software team. Work hands-on across the software development lifecycle and collaborate with other engineers to support ACDE adoption. Help build and automate system integration pipelines for complex avionics software, including tooling selection, small scripts/apps, and frameworks for automated test, deployment, and delivery. Hybrid role with scheduled onsite time in Aguadilla, PR.

Key Responsibilities

•Support software development lifecycle activities including requirements, design, code, and testing for Military Avionics solutions.
•Collaborate with system/software engineers within the domain to support ACDE adoption.
•Support an integration pipeline to automate and optimize development and deployment of complex military avionics systems.
•Select and integrate modern tooling, apps, and scripts into the development pipeline to increase automation and flow.
•Create frameworks to automate test, deployment, and delivery of software.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
•Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
•U.S. citizenship is required for access under the program/contract.
•Experience mentoring junior members within a team.
•Airborne software development/testing experience and RTCA/DO-178 (or similar) certification-based experience.
