Job Summary

Join HSBC Global Private Banking as an Alternatives Investment Specialist, working with Investment Counsellors and Relationship Managers to support client engagements and new product launches across alternative investments. Drive penetration and growth of private markets and hedge funds among Private Wealth clients in Asia by serving as a product ambassador and subject matter expert for internal and external engagements. Contribute to strategic planning and business development initiatives, and participate in Alternative Investment Group meetings.

Key Responsibilities

•Work with Investment Counsellors and Relationship Managers on client engagements for new HSBC product launches and ongoing alternative investment opportunities.
•Drive penetration and growth of Alternative Investments among Private Wealth clients in Asia as an ambassador for HSBC’s Alternatives product suite.
•Act as a subject matter expert on Alternatives and articulate views of the HSBC AIG group at internal and external engagements.
•Contribute to projects supporting strategic planning, new product launches, and business development and marketing initiatives for Alternatives growth in Asia.
•Participate in Alternative Investment Group meetings and provide leadership; travel in the region may be required for client engagements and events.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
•Advanced years of experience in financial services focused on client engagement and investment/product advisory.
•Experience and extensive knowledge of Alternatives—Private Markets and Hedge Funds.
•Entrepreneurial mindset focused on delivering high standards and driving business growth.
•Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task and deliver exceptional service independently.
