Process customer transactions with speed and accuracy while safeguarding bank assets. Set up, balance, and maintain a teller station, record monetary instruments, and assist with scanning documents and check-cashing decisions. Promote and cross-sell bank products, follow BSA/AML and safety procedures, and support balancing activities for vault/ATM/night drop/coin machines as assigned. Maintain a professional attitude, meet schedule requirements with flexibility, and lift coin bags up to 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities

•Receive, pay out, and process cash and negotiable items, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
•Set up, close, and balance the teller station; maintain accurate handling and recording of transactions.
•Record sales of monetary instruments and cross-sell bank products and services.
•Follow limits and bank policies/procedures to protect customer accounts and ensure bank safety and soundness.
•Complete required BSA/AML and compliance training; assist with vault/ATM/night drop/coin machine balancing and scanning as assigned.

Key Requirements

•Equivalent to high school diploma or GED, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training.
•Ability to effectively communicate with customers, clients, and the public in person-to-person and small group settings.
•Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing, and proficiency with 10-key.
•Ability to follow simple multi-step instructions and exercise common sense judgment in standardized situations.
•Maintain a positive, friendly, professional attitude and appearance; be flexible with the work schedule.
