Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow news, events, and cultural trends to identify themes for breaking news, day news, and enterprise coverage.
  • •React quickly to breaking news while also writing thoughtful, deep coverage on major events and issues.
  • •Write medium- and long-term enterprise pieces and occasional features.
  • •Deliver scoops and exclusive news, building and maintaining a strong network of sources.
  • •Contribute to live briefings and live coverage, including briefing-length stories and coordinated reporting across NYT teams.
