Job Summary

Build and operate Blend’s cloud infrastructure platform to support rapid, secure development at scale. Own Kubernetes (EKS) infrastructure, design and develop Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform, and maintain internal developer tooling and workflows. Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and serve as an escalation point for service incidents. Work with a platform engineering team focused on automation, performance, security, and resilient systems.

•Operate Kubernetes infrastructure (EKS preferred) at scale, including dynamic provisioning, autoscaling, secure multi-tenant workloads, and zero-downtime upgrades.
•Design and develop Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform using industry best practices.
•Maintain and enhance the internal developer platform, tooling, and infrastructure workflows.
•Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and act as an escalation contact for service incidents.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of Platform / SRE / Infrastructure experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•Extensive hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production.
•Strong experience authoring and operating Terraform in production, including Infrastructure-as-Code module design and state management.
•Proficiency in one major programming language such as Go (preferred), TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Rust, or C++.
•Deep knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
