Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and oversee all Middle-Mile transports to ensure smooth goods flow from production sites to logistics hubs.
  • •Use and further develop existing IT solutions for transport planning, contributing domain expertise to automate and optimize systems and processes.
  • •Coordinate closely with external transport service providers and internal teams to resolve operational deviations quickly.
  • •Actively manage unexpected bottlenecks and critical logistical challenges by developing and implementing pragmatic ad-hoc solutions.
  • •Create detailed, data-driven performance analyses and transport plans to evaluate, steer, and continuously improve transport partner performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a comparable field, plus several years of practical transport management experience.
  • •Experience collaborating with large KEP providers (courier, express, parcel) and leading forwarding partners.
  • •Strong knowledge of Transport Management Systems (TMS) and advanced MS Office / Google Workspace skills, especially Excel, Power Query, and Pivot tables.
  • •Solution-oriented, structured working style with decisiveness and confidence in high-pressure, time-critical situations.
  • •Fluent German (at least C1) and good English (at least B2), with willingness to work Saturdays and public holidays.
