Job Summary

Electrical Engineer responsible for designing power and control electronics for Lumafield’s industrial CT scanners, integrating electro-mechanical systems with firmware and software. You’ll design boards, run testing, develop firmware, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver reliable, production-ready hardware at a competitive price/performance point.

Job Function: Hardware, Embedded & Systems Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the specification and design of electro-mechanical systems for the Lumafield hardware platform.
•Perform circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout; bring up boards and validate through testing and system integration.
•Develop test scripts and firmware for factory tools and prototypes to ensure reliable production readiness.
•Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to deliver integrated systems at a challenging price/performance target.
•Support designs from prototyping through production at Lumafield’s own factory.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 105,000 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

•ECAD software such as Altium Designer, Cadence, Mentor, KiCad, etc.
•Experience debugging board-level communication protocols (I2C, SPI, USB, etc.)
•Basic familiarity with MCU firmware development
•Proficiency with Python, C, Linux, and basic data-science tools
•Ability to work with your manager to focus and deliver high-quality work that adds value to the team’s goals
