Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure development tests are complete per schedule, including sample acquiring, testing, and test data entry.
  • •Operate and/or execute process steps using processing equipment, manual processing, test equipment, and metrology tools.
  • •Communicate immediately any abnormal findings on products or testing equipment.
  • •Support glass preparation for development tests (glass cutting, cleaning, coupon/plate handling, staging/labeling, and consumable replenishment) when needed.
  • •Adhere to safety procedures and good housekeeping, including safe handling of glass/sharps/chemicals and correct use of required PPE; work under daily supervision and follow standard procedures.

Salary: USD 23.19 - 32.5 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 2 years of relevant technical experience in a manufacturing or lab environment, or 1 year as Engineering Test Support I at First Solar.
  • •Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and test plans.
  • •Basic to average ability to use test/process equipment and metrology tools (e.g., micrometers, multimeters, power supplies, data logger).
  • •Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) and ability to run JMP scripts and analyze simple datasets using JMP and SQL upon training.
  • •Ability to repetitively handle glass coupons, plates, and finished modules; prior glass cutting/cleaning/breaking equipment experience is a plus.
