Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the process to connect and serve large and high profile new residential/commercial development opportunities, including reviewing plats, determining gas infrastructure needs, preparing feasibility studies, developing proposal terms, negotiating opportunities, executing contracts, and serving as liaison during construction.
  • •Serve as primary company contact for large and complex builders/developers, regularly communicating with stakeholders and recording interactions in the system of record.
  • •Promote company programs and services and advocate for natural gas usage with internal and external stakeholders to influence buying decisions.
  • •Build and manage relationships with channel partners (e.g., gas appliance dealers, plumbers, HVAC dealers) to develop a strong dealer network and promote company programs.
  • •Develop and lead business development programs to maximize customer retention and market share, track building permit and construction activity, and use market analytics to inform capital budget planning. Provide direction to a work group and guide teams to achieve expectations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field and four years of related experience (or equivalent).
  • •Valid driver’s license required.
  • •Ability to communicate with internal/external stakeholders about technical, environmental, or complex concepts and advocate for continued/increased natural gas usage.
  • •Ability to perform analysis involving financial investments, ratios, percentages, and statistical methods.
  • •Working knowledge of software applications to create documents, spreadsheets, financial analyses, reports, and graphics.
