Key Responsibilities

  • •Support site-wide risk reduction initiatives and coach frontline leaders on safety tools such as risk assessments, change management, and safety interactions.
  • •Review safety risks tied to equipment, process, and practice changes and recommend improvements aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • •Monitor incident trends and identify opportunities to proactively improve safety performance.
  • •Lead or facilitate investigations into high-potential incidents using root cause analysis to identify sustainable corrective actions.
  • •Provide technical support for internal and external audits and help maintain compliance with corporate and regulatory safety requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
  • •Ability to coach leaders, analyze safety data, support audits, and implement health, safety and environment initiatives in an operational environment.
  • •Experience supporting health and safety programs within a large-scale industrial, manufacturing, processing, mining, or heavy industrial workplace.
  • •Qualification in health, safety, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience and training).
  • •Working knowledge of safety management systems, risk assessment processes, change management practices, and incident investigation methodologies; understanding of applicable health and safety legislation and standards.
