Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow forecasts for large infrastructure projects.
  • •Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine accurate quantities and costs.
  • •Perform quantity take-offs and measurements for construction activities, and verify contractor-submitted quantities for billing accuracy.
  • •Support tender, contract, and agreement preparation; evaluate contractor bids and make recommendations for award.
  • •Manage contract variations, claims, and change orders; prepare interim payment certificates and final accounts, including site visits to verify progress and valuations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (mandatory).
  • •Minimum 15 years of quantity surveying experience on large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., airports, shopping malls, commercial complexes).
  • •Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation, and contract management.
  • •Proficiency with quantity surveying software/tools such as CostX, AutoCAD, and MS Excel.
  • •Familiarity with standards and frameworks such as IS codes and FIDIC.
