Key Responsibilities

  • •Prospect, negotiate, and directly manage major distributor accounts across large Libyan cities (Tripoli, Misrata, Benghazi).
  • •Analyze project specifications and recommend appropriate chemical solutions based on technical requirements.
  • •Provide intensive on-site customer presence, including regular and prolonged travel in Libya (more than 50% of work time).
  • •Supervise testing/application phases of chemical products at industrial sites to ensure proper implementation.
  • •Coordinate export logistics and customs documentation between Tunisia and Libya (Incoterms, documentary credits, inspections, and compliance certificates), and monitor international payment terms and collections.

Key Requirements

  • •5 to 7 years of technico-commercial experience in chemical products for construction or industrial technical supply.
  • •Strong knowledge of regulatory, hygiene, and safety requirements for Food & Beverage (HACCP, chemical resistance) and Oil & Gas (ATEX, harsh environments).
  • •Proficiency in complex B2B sales cycles and managing technical stakeholders such as engineers.
  • •Expertise in international trade fundamentals, including Incoterms and regional road/maritime logistics.
  • •Strong autonomy, resilience, intercultural adaptability, diplomacy, and stress management for complex industrial environments.
