Key Responsibilities

•Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and on schedule while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver truck/trailer into loading and unloading areas; follow loading crew signals.
•Assist with loading/unloading goods using specialized equipment when required; return equipment to designated areas.
•Maintain shipping paperwork (invoices and bills of lading) and perform routine truck service tasks such as checking fluids; report maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

•Hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle’s weight.
•Pass background and drug testing required by federal and/or state DOT regulations.
•Pass a DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
•Be at least 21 years old to operate the company vehicle.
•Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds and sit in a trailer cab for long periods; travel frequently.
