Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the ISSO for assigned systems and environments.
  • •Develop, review, and maintain security documentation and supporting evidence (e.g., System Security Plans and POA&Ms).
  • •Support initial and ongoing authorization activities and continuous monitoring aligned to federal requirements.
  • •Coordinate security control implementation/validation and remediate findings across technical teams to validate closure evidence.
  • •Coordinate with assessors/auditors and support incident response, contingency planning, disaster recovery, and tabletop exercises.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in information security, information assurance, cybersecurity compliance, system security, or a related role.
  • •Experience serving as an ISSO or supporting system security/compliance activities for regulated information systems.
  • •Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 security controls and the Risk Management Framework.
  • •Experience supporting FedRAMP, GovRAMP, DoD Impact Level requirements, including authorization activities and recurring security assessments.
  • •Hands-on experience maintaining System Security Plans, control narratives, POA&Ms, and assessment evidence.
