Job Summary

Design and develop modelling and simulation for reliability, availability and operating behavior of radar systems; join a 14-person Sûreté de Fonctionnement team, collaborate with product development and service engineering, and perform Monte Carlo-based modelling of radar hardware and production/repair processes with occasional travel in France.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze requests/needs and propose creation of suitable models
•Organize workshops to collect input data for models
•Model radar systems as well as production/repair processes and supply chains
•Identify improvement avenues
•Manage and archive models and data; present study synthesis to requesters

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor level plus five (BAC+5) with experience in functional safety or Integrated Logistics Support
•Experience and/or skills in reliability and availability studies based on models (Petri nets, Markov models)
•Knowledge of modelling tools using Monte Carlo methods
•Ability to understand and model complex systems
•Ability to synthesize and analyze results and identify improvement opportunities
