Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete welding assignments and procedures for construction and repair of site structural stands safely and on time.
  • •Cut, trim, scarf, fit, and fabricate metal components to dimensions to build and assemble structural forms.
  • •Under supervision of a lead welder, analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations when procedural information is unavailable.
  • •Use hand welding and flame-cutting equipment to weld metal components into structural forms.
  • •Inspect own welds per AWS D1.1 and ASME B31.3 standards and obtain/maintain required internal certifications or permits.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •2+ years of experience with at least one of SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, or FCAW (college welding program experience qualifies).
  • •Ability to analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations when procedural info is unavailable.
  • •Ability to visually inspect own welds per AWS D1.1 and ASME B31.3 with proper training.
  • •Ability to work multiple shifts with minimal notice and safely perform physical requirements, including working at heights up to 500ft and in confined spaces.
