Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate engineering and technician resources to deliver work packages for our clients.
•Work collaboratively with clients, stakeholders and internal teams to deliver highway schemes/projects.
•Provide site supervision support and monitor contractor compliance with the contract and Works Information.
•Guide and support junior staff, contributing to their professional development and qualifications.
•Contribute to the development of the team’s internal knowledge base and mentoring.

Key Requirements

•A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent within a highway design role.
•Working towards IEng or CEng status with a professional institute. Professional qualifications are advantageous.
•Relevant knowledge and experience of highway design and/or drainage systems across project life cycle; experience in road geometry, roundabouts, junction design, inclusive active travel, highway drainage, road restraint systems, traffic signs and road markings.
•Knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads & Bridges, Manual for Streets, TSRGD, Local Authority design guidance.
•Ability to deliver designs and documents to budget, programme, and legal requirements; coordinate with clients and internal teams.
