Key Responsibilities

•Build relationships with customers by presenting, demonstrating, and supporting Esri software and solutions as part of the account team, and helping plan and execute sales strategies.
•Be an expert by becoming a subject matter expert of electric, gas and/or telecommunications and a technical expert of ArcGIS, communicating Esri’s message to customers and anticipating technology trends that will impact them.
•Solve problems by crafting and proposing solutions that show GIS value and aligning Esri technology with customer business needs.
•Tell our story by presenting technical demonstrations, designing presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences, and sharing best practices for use, deployment, and administration of Esri technology.
•Present at conferences and trade shows to communicate solutions and drive adoption.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications
•1+ years of experience in electric, gas and/or telecommunications
•Understanding of ArcGIS from an IT context (hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, cloud computing)
•Experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design as well as an understanding of sales and business development processes
•Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology
