Key Responsibilities

  • •Support or lead delivery of capital investment water projects, managing project lifecycles from inception and design through procurement and site delivery/commissioning.
  • •Provide client-side project management across option studies, option development, construction tender support, and NEC contract administration.
  • •Support project management commissions by driving successful delivery, including meetings, minuting, progress reporting, procurement strategies, and tender documentation.
  • •Manage scope, H&S, risk, quality, schedule, and contract management, working with clients and contractors to resolve disputes where possible.
  • •Develop strong client relationships and support project teams, including mentoring graduates and apprentices and assisting business development opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •2–4 years of proven experience in a consulting environment providing full PM services, including meetings, PEP, progress reports, and tender documentation, plus post-contract management.
  • •Water industry experience essential, with infrastructure project management experience delivering projects end-to-end.
  • •Knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts, particularly PSC and ECC, ideally working towards NEC ECC Accreditation.
  • •A relevant degree in project management, engineering, environmental science, construction, or a related subject.
  • •A PM qualification such as APM PMQ or PRINCE2 would be desirable; associate member of APM or CIOB would be desirable.
