Job Summary

Deliver municipal and land development infrastructure projects across Northern Ontario by designing watermains, wastewater and stormwater systems, site servicing, and roadway networks. Prepare calculations, reports, specifications, cost estimates, and design drawings to support project decisions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support municipal approvals, and assist construction teams through contract administration and field reviews, while mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

•Design municipal and land development infrastructure including watermains, wastewater systems, stormwater management facilities, site servicing, and roadway networks.
•Prepare engineering calculations, reports, specifications, cost estimates, and design drawings that inform project decisions.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, CAD technicians, and technical specialists to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
•Support municipal approvals and coordinate with agencies, utilities, and stakeholders throughout project development and implementation.
•Assist construction teams with contract administration, field reviews, and resolution of on-site technical challenges, while mentoring junior staff.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 81,900 - 112,800 annually

Key Requirements

•5-8 years of experience delivering municipal engineering, land development, or related civil infrastructure projects.
•Civil Engineering degree and eligibility for, or registration as, a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
•Experience designing municipal infrastructure systems including water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway networks.
•Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with Ontario municipal design standards and approval processes.
•Valid Ontario driver's licence and willingness to travel periodically throughout Northern Ontario.
