Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver the Community Benefits framework by acting as engagement lead for eligible communities and helping them understand how funding supports local priorities.
  • •Develop and implement robust engagement processes to support consistent delivery across business areas, including stakeholder mapping and community consultation activity.
  • •Manage data and reporting to measure impact, maintain stakeholder records and engagement plans, and keep local authorities, community councils, and political stakeholders informed.
  • •Support the development and delivery of public information campaigns, planning consultations and ensuring feedback is captured and used to inform delivery.
  • •Prepare engagement materials and presentations within branding guidelines and support/lead internal working groups with external partners to coordinate stakeholder activity.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree level education in Marketing, Communications, Community Development, Stakeholder Engagement or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • •Proven engagement, communications, or community-facing programme delivery experience, ideally within a regulated industry.
  • •Strong understanding of stakeholder mapping and two-way communications strategies, including working with local authorities and political stakeholders.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
