Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical and project support for a single large project or multiple smaller projects, including reviewing plans and specifications.
  • •Perform technical due diligence and prepare/review EPC specifications and documentation.
  • •Evaluate and negotiate EPC proposals and manage liquidated damage calculations to protect the owner’s technical and financial position.
  • •Review electrical scope and equipment packages (e.g., switchgear, MCCs, transformers, UPS systems, cable systems, grounding, protective devices) and electrical studies (single-line diagrams, load flow, short-circuit, coordination, arc flash).
  • •Support commissioning and startup activities for electrical systems, including witnessing testing and operational turnover, and manage outside contractors and consultants.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • •5+ years of experience in engineering or construction, including medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems.
  • •Experience providing electrical engineering support for projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
  • •Experience with electrical studies such as load flow, short circuit, coordination, grounding, and arc flash analysis.
  • •Ability to develop cost estimates and manage budgets, project costs, and scheduling while maintaining vendor and contractor relationships.
