Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate welding equipment for Transformer assembly line production work, including low voltage welding and welding on stainless and mild steel covers.
  • •Use plasma arc torch, TIG and MIG welders, grinders, drills, and the robotic MIG welder as needed.
  • •Interpret basic prints, computer readouts, written and verbal instructions, and material lists when complete prints are not available.
  • •Operate material handling equipment including bridge cranes, jib cranes, and hand trucks.
  • •Place weld-on/bolt-on covers and perform pressure tests using air and soap; complete transformer welding in required positions.

Key Requirements
