Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical discovery sessions with security and infrastructure leaders to uncover challenges related to endpoint security, passwordless adoption, and identity threat vectors.
  • •Deliver customized product demonstrations and architectural sessions for Okta Device Access (including Okta FastPass and Desktop MFA) and Identity Threat Protection capabilities.
  • •Design and execute outcome-focused proof of concepts (POCs) to demonstrate Okta’s value in preventing account takeovers and securing access from any device.
  • •Create and maintain reusable demonstration systems, diagrams, documentation, and templates for POCs and customer engagements.
  • •Provide technical and strategic guidance to Solutions Engineering teams across Okta and Auth0, collaborate with the OFCTO office to deliver field insights, and present at industry and customer events.

Key Requirements

  • •Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD (Entra ID), including Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Kerberos, and OIDC/SAML protocols.
  • •Proficiency with multi-IdP ecosystems including Okta, Ping Identity, and Google Workspace, plus experience with hybrid identity synchronization between on-prem and cloud.
  • •Deep hands-on expertise in passwordless authentication (FIDO2/WebAuthn, Passkeys) and implementing solutions like Okta FastPass.
  • •Strong understanding of endpoint and device access, including Desktop MFA, device registration, and posture signals from MDM/UEM (Jamf, Intune, Workspace ONE) and EDR (CrowdStrike).
  • •Experience in identity threat detection and response (ITDR), including modern identity attack vectors, UEBA, and integrating identity platforms with SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel) and SOAR tools.
