Job Summary

Consultant in the Cost Intelligence and Estimating team within the PMCM group, delivering estimating, cost intelligence and benchmarking services for major infrastructure projects. Develop robust cost estimates and cost plans across the project lifecycle, using data-driven insights and digital tools to support client decision-making and growth across UK projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the delivery of estimating, cost intelligence and benchmarking services for major programmes and projects across infrastructure and built environment sectors.
•Develop robust cost estimates and cost plans across the project lifecycle, applying cost management principles, methodologies and standards.
•Leverage data-driven insights, benchmarking and digital tools to enhance accuracy, transparency and client decision-making.
•Collaborate with colleagues in the PMCM team and across cross-functional disciplines to support project delivery and client engagement.
•Support growth plans, bids, proposals and work-winning activities within the Cost Intelligence and Estimating team.

Key Requirements

•Construction cost management, quantity surveying or relevant qualification and/or desire to pursue RICS chartership with our support.
•Demonstrable experience in infrastructure sectors, including knowledge and experience with estimating and benchmarking at various design stages, digital tools, procurement and pre and post cost and commercial management.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
•Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
•Passion about making a difference and being part of a dynamic team.
