Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate and appraise highly complex auto physical damage claims using digital tools in line with contract terms, guidelines, and state laws.
  • •Investigate claim damages by communicating with insureds, internal claims adjusters, and third-party vendors, including possible face-to-face interactions.
  • •Review facts of loss and vehicle damage for subrogation opportunities and ensure supporting physical damage documentation is included.
  • •Maintain accurate and current claim file documentation and manage productivity through desk management and timely follow-ups to support claims adjudication.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
  • •3 years of auto appraising experience.
  • •Proficient knowledge of P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages, auto parts distribution process, and claim appraisal procedures.
  • •Advanced working knowledge of estimating losses using CCC or similar estimating platforms.
  • •Acquire and maintain an insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts.
