Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement and enforce the site-specific Safety Plan in accordance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and Army regulations.
  • •Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards related to material handling, equipment movement, and personnel operations.
  • •Ensure safe handling and storage of hazardous materials (HAZMAT) in compliance with EPA and Army guidelines.
  • •Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; report findings and corrective actions to the Project Manager and COR; maintain incident logs and OSHA documentation.
  • •Perform safety audits and job hazard analyses for key operations, track safety KPIs, and support government inspections and safety-related inquiries.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of safety experience on government, military, or industrial logistics sites.
  • •Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, EM 385-1-1, DA PAM 385-10, and Army site safety practices.
  • •Experience supporting military logistics activities such as equipment turn-in, retrograde, or base closure operations.
  • •Excellent communication, documentation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • •OSHA 30-Hour (General Industry or Construction) required; CSP or CHST preferred.
