Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure the club sports program complies with university standards and conference/national affiliation rules and regulations, identifying risks and corrective criteria.
  • •Coach, counsel, advise, and mentor student athletes; assess capabilities during practice and provide improvement guidance.
  • •Coordinate student-athlete recruiting programs and oversee required certifications for participation as aligned with NCAA and university guidelines.
  • •Promote sportsmanship, enforce discipline, and establish/oversee penalties for team standard breaches per the Club Sports Student Handbook.
  • •Assist in organizing competitions and tournaments and support program development, competition strategies, and enrollment growth expectations.

  • •Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; occasionally operate university vehicles.
  • •Complete duties with irregular hours and be able to pass a background investigation.
