Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement control systems using PLC and SCADA technologies to optimize laboratory workflows and support scalability.
  • •Integrate robotics into automation systems and ensure smooth operation within existing frameworks.
  • •Develop wrappers and integrate 3rd-party equipment and vendor software with existing control systems.
  • •Design PLC-based safety systems to safely operate equipment, robotics, and conveyance systems.
  • •Lead automation projects end-to-end, including controls scope, milestones, vendor management, and calibration/testing/validation for performance, accuracy, and safety.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years designing and implementing complex control systems for automated laboratory environments.
  • •Extensive knowledge of PLCs, HMI, SCADA, and related automation software and hardware.
  • •Experience with industrial networking in OT deployments, including network routing, security groups, and VPNs.
  • •Ability to create detailed engineering documents and schematics using tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks Electrical.
  • •Proven experience integrating robotics and programming using structured text.
